 Christmas in the Country A Group of Artisans Beads, Bears, Fabric, Florals, Glass, Pottery, Weaving, Wreaths, Yarn Every November for many years this group of artisans has shown their work in this country farmhouse. In 2004, we joined other artists to form the Rural Routes Studio Tour. Janice Burmaster works with fabrics, making collectable dolls and bears and accessories for your home. Susanne Carter spins, dyes and knits wool into beautiful baby booties and other wearable art. Wendy Currie works with paper and beads making cards, jewellery and home accessories. Brenda Hagey creates dried, preserved and silk floral arrangements and wreaths for all seasons. Bob and Judy Shantz ( Wildfire Galleries) work in clay and glass creating functional and raku pottery, recycled glass candleholders and other slumped and fused glass items. Fenny Zwygers is a weaver whose work ranges from fashion accessories to table linens, blankets and other woven wear. Several other artisans contribute to their show. Also Open: Friday November 2nd
